Thanks Plugfest
Thank you to the site for putting on a great day at the plugfest. It was a pleasure to meet you guys and to see some of the great work you do. True craftsman. I picked up a lot of great techniques and tricks and can't wait to try them. Good being able to put faces to names. I think fun was had by all. P.M.

Thanks
Thank you Salty, thank you Big Fish for putting this event on. Thank you John R for hosting this site and bringing all these people together. I only caught the last 1-1/2 hours but I was entertained and educated. Thank you everyone that brought stuff to show and to those of you that share some of your hard earned tricks. Now I am lusting after some of those tiger maple needles that Slip did. Fortunately I have a little tiger maple down in the shop. Some of those paint jobs were really sick! I can't see putting any of those in the water within a mile of a Bluefish. As usual I came away with some new ideas to try out. This was a great experience, one that I am sure is unique in this world!
Once again, thank you everyone that was involved in putting the Plugfest together and to running the show. I am glad that I got there for the end and am sorry I missed the rest. Next year!

Wished there had been time to talk with each of you.
For those of you I got to speak with, you are great people. (Clammer, Bigfish, JohnR, #^^^^^^^^^^^&, Mac and on and on)
It's nice to know there are so many good people who love to fish.

I also want to echo thanks to #^^^^^^^^^^^& and Big Fish. They did a tremendous job organizing and thinking this through. Thanks also to KarlF, Slip, Flap, the Links, MikeCC, and all the others that pitched in to make today work and to everyone that showed. And to the youngins picking the winning tickets... ReelE - good to see your daughter having fun and doing well.
Most of all, awesome job on the plugs, both in the contest or squirreled away in your plug bag. You all do tremendous work and share that work with others. Very Cool!
Again, Thanks!

Hey Mike...
Too bad ya couldn't make it, you woulda loved it.
Like BBJ said, even though you don't build, you are a big part of the resurgence in interest in custom wood.
