The asterick shows on the "whos on line" list... you can see your name with asterick, when you are online, but others cannot... the grey blot to the right of the user name, will just say that user is offline... wether he is online or not.
At least thats what I'm gettin here.

As far as what John R meant CS, well I'm guessin he means your ever smilin face on the avatar, that never goes away

And if you take it 3 ways, u gonna be popular when u go to p-town

Hey, if'n I remember right u gonna be another year older and grumpier soon... Happy B-day, when it comes, ya ol' phart!
