				Spread Out Porcupine

No wonder it feels more crowded on the water, at the ramp, and on the beaches in the last 10 years. Check out these stats I read in the Cape Cod Times buisness section. 1 Million saltwater fisherman, 150,000 fisherman increase in 1 year,1 Billion dollars spent by saltwater anglers in Mass. I always said fisherman will spend whatever it takes to catch fish. Who knows maybe there is a market for a $25.00 lure. |

				 | Said they did a survey of 650,000 fisherman. I am always being asked questions during the year at the ramp when I come in by people doing surveys about fishing. Maybe this is where the info goes. Paul |

 Hey Prof,
I don't have the figures for France, but it looks like we have the same number of fishermen in our whole country.
And prices are climbing, mountain high, especially on new Japanese stuff, but also with American standards.

For instance 15€ for an Excalibur super-spook (approximatively $20), 13€ for slug-go's...

And check that brand-new Japanese swimming plug : more than $40

				BOAT RAMPS

In CT boat ramps far and few between, then room for only 2 boats at a time.STATE takes our fishing monies etc and put in general fund figure that out.Went to michican ti fish salmon with son, boat ramps 20 boats wide with lines 24 hr day and nite.yes more people but fish and game take care of their sportspeople.CT has like 3 miles of open shore acess most state parks, too many wealthy folks own waterfront so no access.we all pay alot of monies for lincenses, part of fishing gear monies go to general fund along with boating funds.think about our state and all the $$$$$$$$ casino's give state,it 's alot. |
