ok, trout rising
trout rising on bugs, on a large pond, just as the sun is about to set. thinking of using a fly behind a bubble. i normally use a small hares ear. any other suggestion to catch these fish.

Seen that many times at sundown often just out of reach from shore. Usually hitting small bugs on the surface.

if you throw
a brown spotted rooster tail out there and retrieve it like a top water buz bait with your rod held up real high until you get it up on the surface leaving a wake...
they'll smash that thing....

A dry fly on ahead of a bubble will work.
