The Patch to quit Chew???

As much as I enjoy it, I NEED to quit chew before my tooth falls out of my head, loose my jaw, or worse. Its been 10 years and enough is enough.
I lack self control and will power, so "cold turkey" has been unsuccessful.
Does anyone know the effectiveness for The Patch and/or Nicotine gum for quitting chew???
Advice would be appreciated.

Thumbs up redlite

the patch is effective because it gives you nicotine via a different medium.

the secret is to decrease your THIRST for nicotine by reducing your intake...

that acomplished it becomes much easier to drop the habbit....

so if you chew daily count how often you grab more and cut that in half

try to go for a day without and then a day on then two days without a day
on.... increasing the time and reducing the amount....is the secret...

when you have reduced your dependance...on quantity....then it takes much less self dicipline and or will power to stop all together.....

I used Wellbutrin to quit smoking 2.5yrs ago.I've never had the desire to ever smoke a cigarette since then.Don't see why it wouldn't work for chew.
