Water temps
Was in B Bay today and my new Raytheon says water was 55. Doesnt seem right anyone else got temp reports?

No trick question. I fish the bay alot and the Stoney Dike area will be warm this time of year on an outgoing tide so I would say your temp gauge is pretty close. Could be way off if your out near Cleveland Light as that's pretty much deep water which will still be cooler this time of year.

Salty I was getting that reading about slack high tide up and down that area from the MM ship to the end of the dike. Next time I will bring a cheap thermometer with me and drop her in.

Keep in mind also that you can get some funny readings, I've seend the water coming out of the canal/cc bay being warmer than the upper bay also. Does funny stuff with the canal being there. I think your probably pretty close though.
