keeping it in the racks

I own a Hydra sports 212wa,(great boat !).I keep it in a rack which is very convient and easy. I have heard that rack storage is not the safest thing around. If anyone has any comments I would love to hear. I realy like the fact that I don't have to paint the bottom.

Make it idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot.

Keeping it in the racks

, Seabass, I have the same boat, I love it too, but painting the bottom isn't
really that bad. I have a 2001 and this is the first time I have had to paint the bottom.I love keeping it in a slip, anytime I want to go out, I just go out.
No waiting for it to be put in the water, no calling ahead to make arrangments. I have to pass right by a bait shop to get to my marina, so if I have to pickup anything I don't have to go out of my way. Her name is
"uffah!"

Uffah,I don't mind the loading system, I never wait more than 5 or 10 minutes and it takes me that long to get all the provisions unloaded anyway. It must be nice to just be able to hang out at the dock, I have to unload and rinse it down in ten minutes so they can pull it.I have a 2004 with a 150 johnson, have you had any problems?Anything I should pay extra attention to?thanks p.s. her name is "becky's Girl"

Seabass,
I have never had any problems with my 212w/a. Mine is a 2001 with a 150
Johnson Ocean Pro. Although, I wish she had a 200 or even a 225 hp. I was
considering the 212cc,but the Mrs. talked me into the w/a. she loves it too.
Last season I got caught in a couple of down pours, and she was sure glad for the cabin. Last year I added another Bimini, 9'x9', behind the other that
covers the Helm seating. That is nice when we are at the dock and it starts to rain, or the sun gets real hot.
