Hi All just wanted to give you an update on how the fishing was last week.
We went out scouting Tuesday on the new boat and caught about 35 Cod with 15 of them being keepers to 10 lbs in the inshore waters off Nahant.
Thursday Bil & I headed to the cape for some shore fishing and caught around 30 schoolies up to 27 inches on the south side of the cape. We also had a few chases by bluefish but the bite for the blues was off because of the NE wind and the tides, this week will be great tides for evening bluefish on the south side of the cape.
Saturday we had clients for a 1/2 day shore trip to the cape and caught about 60 stripers ranging from 12 - 23 inches. These fish were fighting hard and on the feed bag.
Sundays shore trip was canceled due to the weather report. We will be out on the water again this week looking at both bass & Cod in Boston harbor and Looking for Bass & Blues on the cape. Things are getting better everyday so get out there and hit the water!!!!
Hi Buddy, thought we might have seen you there but sorry we missed ya. this week should be the best shot at them with the tides, need some SW wind and we will be golden. Hopefully we will see you down there.
