canal streak stays alive
i fished the canal tonite from 5:30 to 8:30 with live herring (gotten legally elsewhere) near the herring run not even a touch between 2 people . this keeps my no fish at the ditch streak going strong , i wish they would hurry up and fill that thing in . at least my new waders came today

Went down yesterday morning before work. Fished plugs and rubba, nothing... Didn't see any fish anywhere.
Still a nice morning though. Gonna give it another shot this weekend.

Glad I didn't waste my time getting a herring license this year. Have a feeling that all those fish are out in Cape Cod Bay. With limited herring around they are moving thru, not hanging around because of limited bait, and looking for those Macks out in the bay. They got to eat. That should bode well for the boat guys in the bay and south shore. You know darn well though as soon as I post this the canal will light up. Paul
