It's just tough to concentrate when you're being eye-balled all the time by these cute little guys.

I have a saltwater charter booked for Sunday morning.
Thanks for the charter info Schoolie Monster.

I felt kinda bad I couldn't help this guy out with the hook in his mouth, but he wouldn't let me get near him.

Can anyone ID this?
I guess it's some kind of (poisonous?) jellyfish.

I lived in Winter Haven, FL for a while, those little gators put up good fight, and they're fun to play with when you get them in, just keep an eye out for Momma.

This might be the Jellyfish you saw -
Moon Jellyfish
Aurelia Aurita

This jellyfish floats at the ocean surface and is the jelly most commonly washed up on beaches during high tide or after a storm. Jellyfish feed on marine life that gets caught up in their poison-containing tentacles. • Look For: A whitish, translucent, saucer-shaped jellyfish. Many short, fringe-like tentacles. 4 round or horseshoe-shaped structures near center of saucer are yellow, pink, or bluish in adult. • Length: Saucer up to 16" wide. • Habitat: Surface of ocean, large harbors. • Range: Arctic to Florida and Mexico; Alaska to southern California. • Related Species: • Lion's Mane: Cyanea capillata • Portuguese Man-of-War: Physalia physalis • Sea Gooseberry: Pleurobrachia pilius.

I would also say the jellyfish is a Portuguese Man-O-War.

I had a great day of fishing the flats with Capt. Tod, www.fishingcaptain.com ,I will do this again for sure. Tod is a hell of a guy, we had an awesome day.
Had a shot at a Tarpon, Tod estimated it was 40-50#'s. I had the big fish on for a little while, what a fight, until he broke the leader on me. We saw several Tarpon rolling on the surface. Also had a good size Bull shark come up to the boat and grab my bait, no chance there on light tackle. Got a bunch of fish sight fishing the flats. We saw Reds, trout, snook, ladyfish, and Jacks. It was a totally different way of fishing, I like it a lot. Pretty cool having Dolphins and Mantatees swimming around the boat while we were fishing. Here's a few pics.

We also saw a huge Manta Ray just outside the Sebatian inlet.
Notice how blue the ocean is.
