What a Day at Sea
Like an idiot I listened to the weathermen who said the wind would lay down today and be 5-10...........NOT...............Got kicked around pretty good.
I did manage to load up with macks for the freezer, but i could not not hook up with bass this time. It was too rough to stay on the outside, so i headed in for calmer water, trolled a bit and threw a few casts in skinny water. NADA....
But i saw 2-3 other idiots out there so I didn't feel that bad.
I'm still cold, and damp and tired. Rest of the week is a washout. So I guess i'll have to go to work instead of fishing.    |

Where are you finding the mackeral. I dont want to muscle in on anyone's spots but any suggestions? I may try to head out of Scituate or Plymouth weather permiting Thurs or Fri.

Those areas are good, macks are everywhere, get out into 80+ feet of water and jig, troll small rigs if you have to, but your sounder should tell you what depth they're holding so jig em' up. |

We where out last Sat. good fill of Macks and and like the last 2 years, my first Striper of the Year on the 7oz jig at the end of the sabiki. My hands are all cut up I need Mack gloves 
The new livewell is in and ready to go....
I think it ended up being around 40 gal. |
