canal report 6/19
i spent the better part of the day at the maratime acadmey today and caught nothing. i had chunks of menhaden out and i was plugging. i was useing a bluefish bomber, and also tried a rapala plug. all for not. also i stoped at redtop and got some slug go's which also produced nothing. i am a failure on fathers day! ya for me. there was one guy that caught a couple verry small stripers ...like 10 inches or so, but i guess 10 inches is better than no inches...
the kids caught a ton of tiny green crabs and a couple starfish.
anyway thats my report

Bud the wind is out of the north and the pressure is up alittle, so dont be hard on your self.

It was slow for pluggin' up here on PI this weekend, the chunkers were getting stuff, mostly smalls, but who wants to chunk? Not my bag baby. Sorry didn't mean to jack this thread but I had to vent to someone.

We didn't do well friday night either. Oh well , there's always next Friday night!!
Be careful taking lobsters at the canal. they could turn into the most expensive you have ever had if you get caught taking them.

The Canal
Saturday night was much the same. I did get a couple hits on slug-go's after 6hrs throwing plugs. Sure was a nice night to be out there.
