truth or bs

How many thing's written in here and other place's that you read are true fact's or are they tail's [stretching the real fact's] about fishing. Like I caught 30 fish tonite when in fact the group you were with caught that total amount...or mine are the best ever made....or no one can out fish me..or I've caught more lrg. then anyother when in fact someone else caught it but your taking the credit to help sell someone elses product.Seem's there's alot of this going on these day's because it's so easy to write anything on the internet and people get sucked in. I was once told people read to much into the net...what's your thought's on the subject??....truth or bs...just curious.

BOAT fish do count.

Not sure about BS but what I find funny is this: People who just started fishing for 1-3 years and know EVERYTHING

All I know is it takes years and years to be full of chit

I think after many decades , you learn that

1) It doesn't ,matter what other people catch or say they catch.

2) You only lie to yourself cause nobody else gives a $ h i t

3) The only fish that really matters is "the next one".

4) At some point , you won't be able to fish anymore do to age or health so enjoy every trip out there , it may be your last.

It's like in May I went 15 days without a decent fish. I just beat that record. My last good fish was 6/11. Everything will be for sale if this keeps up. Got a VS 250, 3 704Z, 2 5500, 1 6500, 2 Calcutta 400 1 abu 6600cs, 3 710s, a Lamson 4 Fly Reel on a Redington 10 weight And about 700 plugs.
I'm gonna sell everything I swear.

No boat, back in the suds.

Your are Right on BBJ, especially #4 Saltheart.

Hope I didn't pass the Skunk on to you Fred, was great being out on the sand with you the other night, good jawing with ya, fish woulda been nice too
We had a Rappin' Mikey siting ta boot

I guess I'm pretty close to that #4 stage, even if no fish, it's just nice to get out there, enjoy the night air, look at the stars and just tossing some plugs, fish would be a plus tho... .. unlike tonight, (I was suppossed to go!, had the OK from the boss, till the washing machine puked... ) I've taken the washing machine apart and reassembeld it twice... taking a break, hope the third times the charm
Back to the wash room.....

Have had some success, mostly due to LOTS of help from people here. I do try to pass on what little I do know without BSing.....

Saltheart is a wise man, I am still healthy, but life has already got me close to 4)....The fish in many cases are the bonus to fishing....

pm me and I will help U

we all bust our balls at times not getting fish
its not 5 years ago or 15 for that fact.
but people know when i ant catching as i suck and say it to all.
i been fishing my whole life as im sure the starter of this thred and a few others that have seen times come and go.
i think all the tech crap boats gps on land and the net along with a bunch of gear improvements has had an impact.
but there are those that are a cut above and always will be
and even they go through dry spells.
