Cabela's Products
Has anyone noticed the decline of the quality of the stuff they carry?
Case in point, I purchased a onboard battery charger it craped out after a few weeks, I send it back to the vendor and it was replaced at the end of last season.
This season I use the new charger one time and it died, I called the vendor and they say to bad the warrenty on the first one ran out.
I tried to tell them this one was a new replacement that they sent me, was told tuff luck.
I am done with Cabelas

I have been happy with Cabelas. Cableas have grown to carry everything under the sun, which is both good and bad. I would deal with cabelas and not the manuf. of the equipment if you are not happy. They have treaded me fairly all the time. I bet they woud allow you to get credit of that item towards a higher end product by a different manuf OR just get your money back.
good luck.

Cabelas customer service is tops IMO.Screw the manufacturer's warranty Cabelas will simply replace it.
It ain't Cabelas making your charger its some shmuck in China.Remember you get what you pay for.

Not sure what kind of waders you fish with but I buy Cabela's brushbusters waders for waterfowl hunting and have had the same pair for 4 years and I am brutal on this stuff not a problem in 4 years.
