taking shorts
when i was fishing at gooseberry and not catching anything there was a couple of (non english speaking guys) catching 14 - 16 inch bass about 100 feet away. they would pull it in and fillet it up on the causeway then throw the carcus in the rocks on the causeway. now my first instinct is to go find the EP or a statey or something, but then i started thinking about my safety since there was like 8 of them there. but it really piss ed me off to see them do that. am i wrong?

I watch this go on lots of times in the town river (Quincy) when coming into my dock!
There is usually Oriental guys fishing off the beach and when they hook into a baby fish they start running backwards up into some trees and on ce out of sight they start reeling in and you see the SMALL schoolie skipping up arcoss the beach and uo towards the trees!!!
One of these days I'm going to have target practice on them with the sling shot and ball bearings I save at work , I keep on my boat!!!

Don't put yourself in a dangerous situation.
Remember: these people have an attitude about the country that has saved them from the negative factors of their homelands. It is a wierd concept to those of us of immigrant ancestors who respect our nation. Keep this in mind:these folks are protected by our Senior Senator and his Liberal friends. Hopefully, someday, Americans will reclaim America and those who disrespect our nation and laws will be asked to join us, or....leave.

Eben, explain? In my generation, the 60's, if an non-English speaking person was caught catching shorts, he would not be able to use the excuse."No speak English, and let me call my ACLU lawyer." Today, I believe, the assumption is: the government is picking-on the poor, hapless , immigrant. IMHO, and I am open to your point of view. Notaro, point taken.

Eben, let me stop the political theme I started. I don't believe Kennedy condones illegal action; I do believe he will find any and all reasons to "explain" illegal actions by groups he has a political vested interest in.... If that makes any sense. I am sick and tired of immigrant groups acting deaf, dumb, and blind about our laws governing fish and wildlife conservation. Immigrant groups in the past certainly acted similiarly; but, the "excuses" were not acceptable, IMHO.

Their Number in Ma. is 800-632-8075
This is a radio room number after which they can contact the closest appropriate EP.

take the photo and hand it to the EP..... give them the location and I'm sure they will love handling the situation.... there are not enough EP's to go around but with hard evidence they will prosecute

Maloney, the EP don't give a damn what creed or color they are, they will nail them.
They don't give a chit what Kennedy thinks.

On those immigrants taking shorts
Here in California, a piece of the fishs' skin must remain on the fillet of any fish taken so when you're checked by a conservation officer, proof of size is intact. Maybe this is something that should be considered by the powers that be in Ma. RI Ct...although as I originally come from RI this would probably take two generations to come to pass.
