Finally A Fish.....Had To Go Fresh!

Went to a place my buddy owns in Plymouth with my boys today for a few hours. I have enjoyed some great freshwater fishing there for quite a few years, especially largemouth. (Fishchick landed one close to 10 pounds here!) Well with me in need of a tight line......we headed there armed with small spinners and some Rat-L-Traps to have some fun and relax. The kids hammered all kinds of sunfish, perch, calico bass, crappie and we got a few largemouth!

Second pic is of my son Nathan who landed this nice largie!

First pic is of my son Larry with a nice catch of his own!

Patrick...never said I "got the skunk off".....said I needed a tight line.

BigBo...yeah I photoshopped that biggie......it was originally a 24 pound 1 ounce largie....but because I did not want anyone burning my spot I wanted all to think it was a wee guppy!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Hey BF,

How are you going to break that skunk if all you do is cruise the site and go freshwater fishing

Fishing with my son.

Hey BF, on a table in our living room, I've got a picture of my son when he was about 10 sitting in the front of my canoe holding up a nice largemouth. He got it on a worm and bobber. We saw the fish hovering at the edge os some lily pads. Drew made the perfect cast. We watch th bas come over and inhale the worm and turn. You know the rest, all H*** broke loose. I don;t know who was more excited and pround that day. Him or me. I still stop and smile when I go by that picture. The memory is priceless :-)
