I've been having a great time shad fishing lately. On light tackle they fight incredibly hard. Any one else having a fun with these things? Its a great way to pass time untill fall!

last week there was some on the bay side where i was fishin. the smell of them makes me nuts (herrin craze)

A few of my friends will eat shad. They say they're good smoked.
