Football time

Headed out this AM and again to land 6 nice footballs in the 25-40 lb range. The last trip was with my 13 year old son and he fouled hooked the biggest one of the day. We got it to the boat but with me holding the rod and him on the net the fished was knocked off after 6-7 swoops. The Qunatum spinning reels were screaming today!

Lots and lots of small footballs just outside Boston down to Marshfield busting small bait all day long. Within 2.5 to 4 mi.

They were there on Sat. also but the boats were running thru them the second they came up. You could hit them in the head and they would not take...

Went all the way to Race point and back... Got some nice bass and blues on 9er rigs while I was there...

We got two yesterday in CCB on deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&s and light line 15#. Our strategy was to run and gun a bit, entering waypoints at the fish for the first few times. Then we positioned ourselves in the middle of that pattern and waited. It gave us a few more casts when it counted.
It was a beautiful day to be on the water.

Best regards,
Roger
