Outer beaches

Thinking of hitting Truro Thursday night. Is it still too early? Any advice or reports on any of the outer beaches would be appreciated. PM me if you would like. Thanks.

truro beaches

I was in Truro on Wednesday and the beaches had 100 to 150 yards of mung. However, we've had a pretty good NW blow on Sunday and it's been SW for the last couple of days (pretty strong today). Normally that will clear the outer beaches. The forcast is for a combo of S, SW and NW winds which should continue to clear those beaches from High Head through Newcomb Hollow and south.

I think its worth a shot now through the weekend.

Truro

Sweetwater,

Was planning on going tonight, but changed plans after the mung reports. So, I don't know what it's like out there. Sorry.

Truro

I'm going to try to get find out about beach conditions. However, I'm guessing that with a solid week of NW/N/SW winds...the outer beaches should be fairly clean....but I could be wrong.

Mung is thick where I surfed this morning. The west winds was starting to pick up just as I left but it will take a solid 2 or 3 days of that to clear the stuff up.
