MVY Help this weekend

I am going to visit friends this weekend who live right on the ocean on the south side of MVY. Their property is on a large pond and then a narrow barrier beach lies to the south. What can I expect for fishing in the pond and in the ocean?

As I've said before, I am a newbe, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Take me with you and ill show you places...I believe MVY is the vineyard.

Just cast anywhere...you will be in the place where surf fisherman go when they die!

look during the day for sand bars and moving water. If you want to lazy fish you can throw some chunks on the bottom, though you will get the occational skate or dog fish, but you do have a chance at a large striper. If your plugging check the moon and use lighter plugs if its bright and darker plugs if its dark. The south shore there is almost 20 miles long so you will have plenty of room.
