Call of the Surf - Photo Contest - Win Plugs
With the heave on and cloud cover, you can get some great shots of what we all love, surf and loads of white water.
The contest will run until Monday at 5:00pm, I will choose the best photo and award the prizes.
Photo must be fishing related in some way, and with surfcasters in mind, and applies to currently registered users only.
When posting a photo you must give general location, ie ( Narragansett, South County, etc etc.)
Professional photographers are allowed to enter (that means you Chuck)
If you cannot figure out how to upload the photos, email them to me a tattoo@tattoostackle.com and I will post them.
The prizes are:
2.5oz Diving Swimer - Green Mackerel
2.5oz Large Swimmer - White
2.0oz Jr. Swimmer - Black
Thank you everyone for a supporting Tattoo's Tackle, have a great fall and be careful out there.

These are pictures of Hurricane Bob are from Narragansett, RI. Wind speed 105 mph, surge 6-10 ft above mean.
I remember that day on August 19, 1991. I was the only one traveling southbound from Johnston, RI on an adventure. I guess only the diehards go out in the middle of a hurricane.

the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.

6/27/05 Race pt. Even though the white water in this pic isn't generated by the surf, and the picture is a little old, I thought I'd enter it anyaway. I tweaked it a little bit (more color by adjusting contrast). Check out the size of the hump about 3/4 of the way up on the right hand side a few inches in.

Tattoo, there are some truly great shots already submitted, here are a few I shot of Sunny Bun fishing off Beavertail yesterday afternoon.
The storm was already winding down but there were a few nice sets left, more so on Newton Rock.
Hopefully these shots will make you wish you were fishing the surf.
