Boston Harbor On Fire!!!
Sorry but I had to post as I don't see too much fish talk on here lately. For those of you who are thinking of hanging it up, don't go there just yet. The Harbor and points north and south have a great amount of fish right now. We were out for 13 hours yesterday and caught a bunch of fish on light tackle. If you get out and the fish won't take the top water, then go to shads and teasers or small metals as the fish are gorging right now on peanuts and adult pogies and can get finicky taking the poppers.
There are also adult bunker around, undisclosed locations in the general area and are big pods, if you want something to catch a cow on get out a snaggin hook and start ripping, put a live bait hook in the nostrils and hold on baby!!!!
For the full report you can check it out on our site at
www.billandjulesfishing.com
There have been some nice fish pictures on the board lately and you newbies can catch one yourself if you put in the time as the fish are there to be had. so go get um!!!!

Is that where the fish are?
I drive for miles and hours along the RI coast and can't find a pod of bait and/or school of decent fish

Got out both days this weekend. You are right. There were fish everywhere! Got a mix of blues and bass, but mostly bass. Got tired of chasing birds so just ignored them and drifted where there was good current and some bottom structure. Got plenty of fish but didn't have to fish in the crowd following the birds. Too bad Christian works on weekends but he has been having a great time in the surf.

Repirts, glad you got into them, yes there have been alot of bird watchers and chasers that haven't caught too many fish, I guess they don't know how to read there fish finder, we have fish all to ourselves for over and hour yesterday. it was awesome to find that on a weekend. Hope Christian get out there with ya soon with his plugs he will have a ball. Tell him there are still a ton of tuna out there, they were all over the place today.

Picking up my bass every morning from shore in Boston Harbor. They seem to be moving from prefering teasers (90% on teasers 2 weeks ago) to lures until a nice 30 inch bass hit the teaser this AM. Jules is right, if not a big popper (the most fun), go to a small plug, then a swimmer or 2 then a shad body or a cocahoe. Somehere in the rotation you find the one they want.
Best fall action for me in years.

Hey guys, yes it has been some of the best fall action we have had in about 3 years. We were on a school of fish yesterday for 2 solid hours with hardly any birds or boats around. Tons of small keepers in the mix, fish surounded the boat, took a few on some zara spooks and they got a little finnicky so we switched to gag's mr bunker poppers and hammered them every cast. tons of doulbe headers yesterday on the teasers, both bass and bass, and bass and blue doubles, we had a ball/
Bliz havent' been able to tuna, been doing bass trips and will be for the next few weeks, hopeing to get a day to go get mr tuna as they are really thick right now.
Striperchaser, drop us an email when you get closer to coming and we'll let you know whats happening were, to unpredictable this time of year to say they will be there then.
Blueoyster, saw ya off the side of me yesterday, look liked you guys were having some fun, the new boat looks good!!!
