Question Pencils at night

I know it goes against conventional wisdom but especially at night it could find you some blind strikes.Anyone else have luck with this technique?

For years the only thing we ever fished at Deep Hole and Carpenters at night were Poppers...both pencil and regular. The way the water break it's almost impossible to fish a swimmer correctly although we did use needles.

No boat, back in the suds.

When it comes to fishing you will learn NOTHING is "unconventional".....

Ever try a Kastmaster at night? ...

Bloo,I've had more success with a Kasmaster than any other lure I've ever used. Not to many large but tons of smaller bass, blues up to 20lbs even fluke.

As a kid it was all I ever used whether it was morning noon or night. One because they were affordable. They're easy to cast and retrieve and most of all they worked!
