mung and eggs huh? sounds tasty. seriously though, I've read that seaweed is incredibly healthy to eat, so if you get skunked, load up on the seaweed for a nice meal!

Sometimes, in the dead of night. When the fog is thick, and the only thing you can hear over the pounding of the surf, is the pounding of your heart beat. Something will urge you to look to the left. Even though you know the soup is so thick you could cut it with a knife, and you couldn't see your own Rah-rah if you were taking a piss. Thats when it will happen. Thats when all the mysteries will unfold, and answers will come pouring in like a warm May rain. Thats when you will finally come to the realization that questions are merely answers that haven't come, and the dawn of man is in rapid reverse. Look at NIB's avatar. Picture him in the mung! My brother has man boobs. Stick the two of them together, add a couple of Bassmasters missing teeth. This is the recipe for true beauty my friends. And it is not always in the eye of the beholder. Sometimes the beholder has no hands..

Eben, you sound bitter. have a beer. Like you never spoke about your catching on the net

no need to take things too serious folks, it's only the internet.
fish where you want to, no need to listen to some writing on a message board

if this thread goes downhill, it will be cut off at the knees so play nice.
Chill out my little pony.I refuse to believe you have not called the former big mouth to get a mung report this year.Tell the truth right now or bad karma will follow you like a fart in your waders.Where is my plug?

my comments are mostly geared to the guys who set up shop in a prime spot and start chunking and crack open a six pack, then leave thier cans behind. The guys who are not really that intune with surfcasting and just wnat to go out fishing for a night. they have their benny's rod and thier white ankleboots... The guys who go clog up the tip of a breachway in sneakers and 8 foot ugly sticks with reels that buckle under a 9 lb schoolie.....
I dont mean to judge, but these are the guys who get places shut down... the guys bringing in beer, bait, sandwiches, lanterns, stereos...

but as kippy said, i am pretty grumpy lately. theres just too many people fishing now i guess.. I can no longer go down to a few of my favorite spots and enjoy the solitude.......

Rattboy- yoru welcome anytime, you know that

All of you guys are upstanding knowegable surfcasers and i would happily fish with any of you any day. well, maybe not all of you

did i say i was venting????
I thought the reason you were grumpy was because of a bug bite.

I will often ask guys whey they're driving so far and i usually get 3 answers about their stomping grounds back home..

a- sucks

b- has no access

c- is really hard to fish

Ri aint what it used to be thats for sure..

21 trucks at a breachway, 15 guys at the mouth of a river mouth.... its like a friggn circus

my comment wasnt directed directly at slip, but at all the mass guys talking up RI all the time.

Fish your own friggin state
RI has no one to blame but some of the guys fishing it.( and they aren't all MA guys doing all the talking) Talk and boasting of numerous large will draw people like a bee to honey. Eben, go over some of your past posts from the last 4 months and see some of the things you wrote. Put up a picture of a nice fish and all the talk of bunker.....Well just put 1+1 together.

Amen Mac, Eben seems like a nice guy and I am sure he puts his time in. But he has yet to realize that loose lips sink ships/.We have p.m.'z but he can't resist braggin'.Funny how he can't understand why there are so many people when his posts account for a good part of the numbers.Like BM who used to squack and now complains they don't seem to grasp the amount of people that follow this crap.If these guys wanted to fish alone they would not be trying to get famous on the board. Each has a lot to offer as far as experience and knowledge but it gets overshadowed by patting themselves on the back.

wanting to be famous?? what are you smoking. Excuse me for contributing. what do you contribute besides criticizing, trolling and name dropping? Guess what I am a nice guy, but sadly you will never see that side of me. This board was a pretty happy place until you showed up seadangles.. to be truthful, I know more than one person who wont post anymore because of the negative attacks that come out of your keyboard and i am surprised JohnR hasnt kicked your negative but right out of here.

Do you guys think i post everytime i catch??? no. Do you think i post about when others who i fish with are cathing? no. Rarely do i post about catching, but is only when i find it interesting to share, like back to back personal bests, and getting hooks straightened. Trust me, i have had some great nights and keep it all very quiet.

excuse me.. i have a tide to catch and they will be there. They always are.

My little pony??? wth

I guess we should all bow down to the almighty perfect Sea Dangles

I never said that I haven't spoken on a phone about mung with friends, where did I say I didn't? Who is the former bigmouth you refer to?
I know where to find the mung and where it sometimes is not at.

You are twisting things around and I have grown tired of your pathetic act.

Start another thread if you all want to continue this juvenille thread, I am locking it.

sea dangles, you can PM me your answers if you want.

Apologies to Water Treater, sorry but I guess the best meaningful post of this thread was by KarlF and the one by CapeDawg

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
