I heard some news that there are some mackeral showing up offshore here. Does anybody know where?

the macks are here....they're following the squid around...

.. I was talking to a mack-seller that came by today, he said he was out towards MV....but there were schools closer to "here" than "there"......

he had three totes....nice bait size fish..

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I seen a dragger come into port and he was full of macks. I asked him where he got em he said about 20 miles out...


Besides why are you thinking about macks when the stripers are in!!!! I go for macks in december when nothing else is around

Can you say Bait!!!! I'd like to grab a couple dozen of these guys and freeze them for bait.

Fished PJ Pond last night, grabbed two nice schoolies to 24" at the rocks behind George's, then another two in the channel leading out from Hanson's Public ramp. Water temps in the pond last night were between 49^-and 55^.

Anthony - live macks are excellent bait to use. The problem for the Rhody boyze is that they are often long gone before the bigger bass show. THey are definitely gone when the blue chainsaws arrive...

They make nice chunk bait for the blue chainsaws in the fall off a certain beach in my neck of the woods in Fall.........
