Tough night
How many other nitwits, besides, Bryan, Spence, Nebe and myself were out?
I spoke with JoeP and told him to wait till dawn. It was coming down so hard I could hardly see. Wind, rain, thunder, lightning, high surf and it's midnight. Gotta love this sport or be nuts or both. I've had it. Going to bed.

The Aquaskinz gotta earn their keep every now and then. I think my right ear is still completely filled with seawater, but dammit I got my needle back!

What a difference a day makes. Friday night-glass calm, light winds and tough fishing-Saturday night East winds, driving rain but finally found some fish. Gotta love it

I was out all day and left at 6 pm due to high winds and driving rain
plus the junk coming out of the river and washing up on shore was
gross plus the tea brown water. I was tired of catching trout size stripers
10 to 14 inches. totally different from Friday night when the fish were 5 times the size and flat calm tide

Yep - as much as I love to fish in nasty weather, I whimped out.
After I talked to Paul about the conditions, I read the Forecast again, saw the bands of T-Storms on the radar for the next several hours, and cashed it in.

last night of the MDA so I went out.
Water was pretty muddy though.
Saw 6 people total over about 5 hours on the water.
This in various well known spots.
not a hit all night.

Thought I was going to have to ditch the gear and climb the fence in front of the light house in order to get out of there. Mother nature was not happy last night.

Crappy weather; fished 4 hours and then bailed and slept with the intention of waking up for pre dawn... slept till 730; oops!
Mike, did one of you guys weigh in a 12 and forget to put a name down? trying to get a list of who weighed what and who fished for the club....

Arden Gardell and Rob Taylor kicked it's ass last night and fished from 3PM straight thru till this morning. Rob had to be in the shop at 10AM so they missed the breakfast. Not sure who caught what, but they definitely went the extra mile resulting in our respectable finish. Needless to say your 25# fish helped the cause. I think it was yours anyways.
I accomplished nothing other then getting rocked by a giant wave at PJ Lighthouse around 10PM and catching some schoolies at a location North of there.

I still haven't seen the final numbers, but it sounds as if we had caught a few 8# blues it would have possibly been a 1st place finish...
