bodyman to carpenter,, come in... over.

can ya' mix sawdust with glue and make some sort of wood filler that actually looks like the wood your working with ?

i'm looking to fill/smooth my belly holes {hook hangers} with something better than air, or 5 min epoxy ?

Yes that will work. Clear lacquer. Ambroid glue or schelac. Any glue that dries fast should sand pretty easy. The finer the saw dust the better.

my grandfather use to do it all the time. take sawdust of thesame wood your working with and mix it with laquer. Badda Bing you got a filler.

i got some of that capesams.
maybe overdose the mixture with 200% sawdust

freak,,,hanger holes ? Plumbers epoxy.. mix in fingers,, hard in minutes strong waterproof stuff..home depot plumbers isle,,

i used fiberglass resin, mixed with the sawdust. came out a little dark but not bad. i knew it would do that seeing the resin turns dark when you add the hardner..
shoulda used clear.. but clear that thick can crack. might try 5 minute epoxy next time with the sawdust mixed it?

whell here it is..
thats one coat of clear. gotta sand it tomorrow and add a few more to fill the grain..ohh and get rid of the unsightly flow indicator hangin off it's head.

mohogany. cut the wrong way..
i know that little eye looks dumb,, but few more coats of clear, it will fill in..nice.
those were the only glass eyes i got left.
