PETA tells kids their "Daddy is a Killer"
You have got to see this clip on MSNBC!

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

I caught part of this add on TV and was (and am) INFURIATED by this. I'm not going to set a hook on a fish but in the likes fo those from PETA - but I will release tham after an extended battle on light tackle
I for one do not subscribe into falling into PETA's game but this is WAY over the line. Time to beyotch-slap those ecco-terrorists!!

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

there should be a penalty for a peta member for infiltrating a site like s-b especially if it's their intent to inform peta of places to bother fishermen.
these people need a freakin wake up call....and what ever politician even comes close to thinking like them needs to be voted out of office pronto.

I wouldn't worry too much about the rantings of that lunatic. The only way they could mass introduce this to kids in a way that would affect their desired outcome would be through the schools. First, the schools will never go for it with the work "Kill" on the cover. In some areas, schools are actually starting to introduce fishing programs into the curriculum Second, I think we see more and more the growing popularity of fishing and publicising what benefit the monies spent on fishing provide, and where. I think most people would see right through PETA's lame tactics, kids included, because in an instance like this, most are even smarter than he gives them credit for.

Just for that I'm going to get me some Fur Waders....just to piss'em off. If you see something that resembles the Yeti out there it will just be me. Fishing in a fur wardrobe ought to get them REAL pissed
That whole idea of daddy's goinmg to kill your puppy is rediculous.....
But that whole thing on the Poison Fish...mmmm....That could expalin why I can't catch a football.
No wait a minute....I'm just out of shape and uncoordinated...maybe eating all that Tuna, with all that mayo mixed in may have had something to do in the Out-of-shape department.

PETA makes me want to puke . There is no way a fish feels the same amount of pain as dogs or cats. Think about the emotions you see from your pet and then think about what a fish looks like when you unhook it.

Come on you guys, don't fall for this. That nutcase only had one article he could cite to support his case and it wasn't even the case for daddy fish killers they started out with. We have known for a long time there are some fish you're not supposed to eat more than twice a week because of mercury, and again he generalized that into "all fish are poisonous", on the other hand the fact that he would not admit it's actually good for you (I believe some is referred to as brainfood) and while I can't quote chapter and verse, I know I once heard that studies in Japan and China have proven the substantial amount of fish in their diets is what scientists say leads to their longevity and, until more recent times with fast food chains coming to those areas of the globe, to the lack of obesity there.
This guy is like a politician losing in a debate and all of a sudden he's saying things he probably can't substantiate as true. I can see you dads out there jumping to protect what might fall in the hands of your kids, but don't stoop to his level.

Frankly,, I don't care if fish do feel pain.
My ancestors didn't crawl out of primordial (sp?) ooze and slim so I could eat freakin' tofu burgers. Personally, I like being at the top of the food chain.
Some animals are just plain YUMMY.
Take that PEE-ta BRAIN !!!!!
Woo, what a vent, I needed that!!!!!

do any of the peta people donate their mutated vegetables to churches and soup kitchens so that someone can have a meal that they wouldn't have otherwise had? also, does it seem as though peta thinks that all hunters and fisherman are out soley to kill and be nice and sadistic towards animals/fish? also, if they want to liberate pets, will they still piss and moan when even more animals are hit by cars? or will we need to walk?

They don't eat fish, right.
But I'll bet they all eat filet &%@%*%% mignon, and prime rib. Those people are the biggest hypocrites in the world. We should set up a phony site advertising fur lined waders like THE DAD FISHERMAN said he was going to buy. A few years ago in Boston they threw some kind of red chit, could have been blood, on people walking into the wang center in boston who were taking thier kids to see the nutcracker. Some of the red stuff got on the kids that were walking with thier parents. That disgusted me.......They are terrorists of sorts doing some of the things they do. If I had a child and a peta member tried to give him/her something like this some doictor might have to surgically removed it from offending person throat
