Ditch

I heard on the newscast that the tide was over the pier at Sandwich haba the other day. Can you imagine the amount of rats that were drowned in that one tide?? Maybe even a few black snakes.

I wish I had taken the time to catch that tide. With the wind driving and the height of the tide the ditch was FULL!

It was over the bulkhead on the Sandwich side at the east end. As well as some of the walkways along the piers in the marina.

i think a spring tide with the help from storm surge helped the water raise that high

todays schoolie is tomorrows keeper,todays keeper is tomorrows cow,practice catch and release!!!.

Rats will always seek higher ground......the tide this afternoon was the highest I have ever seen in the canal!

There was some pretty good surge here too.. the country store by Middlebridge Flooded as well....
actually with back to back low pressure systems and the SW/SE winds we've had elevated tides in Rhody since the 30th of Jan, tides have been 1-almost 2ft above predicted...
