Long story , but my wife was holden the net, trying to get it by the tail ,noooooooo. Handed her the rod & she said no way. Got it into the net, up to the rail , jig went one way , the fish fliped in the boat............36" long......31/2" thick.....won me a silver cup for that one.

BOAT fish do count.

i do have to thank capt. mike of the AVE MARIA.it was a fun evening out with a couple of friends.the capt .does have a couple of hot spots to fish and there seems to be a lot of flounder out there.all i know is when we got back,it seemed that there were a few less flounder in the box, than when we left the spot.

chubsdad?????.

i know i was a little more excited when i got my bass!!

I saw this huge flounder and even have a couple of pictures of it.
Capt Mike, I was with Dave and we met up later that night, remember? It was good to see you again.

Ok Boys I'll give em all the story.

Chubs was fileting the flounder and he took a filet off the side of one....the fish was still alive and slipped from chubs grip.....and swam away 1/2 fileted........that would be hilarious except for one thin.....Chubs did it again......Chubs new !/2 & 1/2 fishinh philosophy.....Catch, filet & release

I wasn't there but met the guys at the marina.....they gave hte story about the amount of flounder but had a very little bag of filets......and chubs got ratted out.....

Bob's fish was nice though
