Pics & Stuff & Follow-up...

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not forgotten them and the items for the site that I need to get finished.

Yesterday was the funeral for my dad. He was burried with Navy Military Honors at a Veterans Cemetary north of Concord New Hampshire after a service in Milford, NH where he had recently moved. The service was good, even on such a difficult day. Deliverying the eulogy, along with my uncle, was one of the most difficult things I have ever needed to do. It was made vastly easier knowing that I have the support of my family and my friends. For that, I would like to thank you that wished me a way through some of the pain & grief that my family is now going through... It does mean a lot.

Unfortunately, as a group, we have had a lot of misfortune lately as members of our fishing community have passed away and more of our love ones have done so as well. Fortunately, some of our comunity with ill family members are also enjoying more healthy recuperations of their loved ones too. That is certainly something that we can be collectively happy about.

This is a great community of people on the web, here, as well as other sites such as FFSW & SOL, that do stick together to offer prayers, condolences, and good will to their angling brothers and sisters when tough times come to us. I sincerly thank all of you for that spirit.

Now, to get some items that need to get going that will be worked on this weekend:

Pictures from the Rhody Leg of the S-B Tourney & Cuttyhunk

Final tally & check from the Storm Raffle for the site & the American Cancer Assoc. Breast Research donation.

Working on a new sponsor's stuff, let's just say he is a well liked & respected shore guide on the Cape

Get back together with a few people concerning a raffle & tourney for Brad "Hawg Hunter" Pohler

Page for Saltheart's Custom Rods

A little inside prize for someone that a few of us are working on - no public speculation please

Getting some prizes sent out...

Some additional site work (yeh, right )

If there is anything that I've let fall through the cracks lately, please shoot me an e-mail...

Thanks,

John Redmond

Tattoo, you're right, I do DESPERATELY need to go fishing and hopefully I might get a chance to do some this weekend. Fishing in Cuttyhunk last weekend was greatly needed and appreciated to fill my tank but another shot may be in order this weekend.

How to help? I don't think there is really anything much that can be done. Saltheart is helping me out a great deal with something we talked about but the rest is a lot site admin stuff ... I do appreciate the offer though...
