Buzzards Bay Anglers Club - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

I and some local guys have rolled out a club in the area surrounding Buzzards Bay.
We are going to be based out of the Marion, Mattapoisett, Wareham, Rochester, Bourne area(actualy any where near or on Buzzards Bay) and will meet once a month in Mattapoisett at the Kinsale Inn. We are planning a "fun" inshore tourney and some other events. We plan to have monthly seminar series with speakers and great presentations. We have written bylaws and have a board of directors. It has been well thought out and seems to be gaining popularity quickly. I invite all of you to inquire if you are interested.

My apologies in advance if I am not allowed to post this here, but I assume ok as this is the "club" section.

Also note. the website has noted that the meetings are the first thursday of the month, this needs to be updated because our meetings will be the second thursday of the month and our first public meeting going forward willl be on june 8 at 7pm at the Kinsale. Sorry for any confusion while we are working out the wrinkles.

We have reworked the site a bit and there is now information regarding our speaker on June 8th. This guy is a wealth of knowledge and I know people will enjoy hearing him speak. He has designed a new lure and has been fishing our local waters for his entire life.

I hope to see some of you at the June meeting/seminar or a future meeting/seminar. Also watch our site for info on a fun, inshore, family friendly tournament in Sept!!!

Update UPDATE
We have had some confusion that I have caused. We will have a meeting on May 11th at 7pm which is the second thursday of the month of May. We will not have a seminar series that night but will have board members on hand to answer any questions and we will present some information regarding the club and our goals. Look for the logo in my avatar on a car, boat or on the back of your unsuspecting buddy! We made a great sticker and will use this as our logo and on our hats.

REMINDER REMINDER MAY 11TH MEETING

The BBAC will be having a regular monthly meeting on May 11th at 7pm at the Kinsale INN, Mattapoisett, MA (see our web site for their link/directions). There will not be a seminar that evening but we will have a great time meeting prospective members and the entire board of directors will be there. I will speak for a few minutes to give all an over view of the club and our goals for the future. We also will have some nominal raffle items and goodies.

We had a GREAT turnout and got to meet a number of guys from every slice of the fishing community. I look forward to the future of the club and hope some of you have the chance to attend our next meeting in June.

I wish I could have attended but my job conflicts with the meeting times and that's one of the requirements to join I think. Good luck with the club I'll be looking for the LOGO.

We would like you to attend, but not a requirment that we will forcefully enforce. If you want to join, send in an application. We would love to have you. Also there will be a fun tourney in September. By becoming a member you will be privy to the discount programs that we have set up with anumber of local and national vendors. This membership will also give you a discount on any club function fees that may be required for Holiday parties or tournaments. We will expect our members to volunteer and help out with activities that will take place at all times during the year.
