one big happy fishing family

I started with a single basic shape and did some swimmers, divers, spook types, and a few popper/spooks.

Still working on some topwater stuff and rigging lots of rubber.

I am so looking forward to getting out into the salt.

that makes me want to go out to my shop right now and spin some wood
real nice stuff there

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

This was a fun batch.

I played arpound with the weighting a bit. This had some effect on whether and how much they roll (behind the hook= more roll). The belly grommets are recessed and there are two coats of epoxy (used a famowood product much like envirotex). I love the way the bunny hair moves in the water. I got it for some jigs I'll be tying up, but I thought I woul try it on some tail hooks as well.

The swimmers leave a large v wake when reeled real slow and drop down a foot or so when pulled faster. I amsurprised at how much water the poppers threw, even with such a small mouth. I was just playing around when I cut the nose off, but it seems to work. Now I'l see how the fish like them.

Paul, I'd love to trade if it gets me one of those plugs. I kept coming over to your table just to drool.

Go Bears!
