Waiting for our first born. Any day now.
Wish I was heading to the air show. This will be the first time in 3 years that I have missed it.

Was planning for an early am saturday launch, but my airconditioner attacked my back last night. Trying to lift it awkwardly and -stab- right in the middle between the shoulder blades.
Thought I was goin' down. Took awhile to get out of bed this morning, but I usually bounce back pretty quick from these things, so still hope to be out tomorrow.
Wife and I are staining the deck in the afternoon.
Taking sunday off. Been going flat out since the season started, including a late night on wednesday. Body and mind are starting object.
Although, I've tried not to go out a few days and it doesn't seem to work.

Fishing plymouth/kingston/duxbury early saturday morning, going clamming at around 9am. Having a fresh form the sea lunch around 1pm, then enjoy some cold ones and watch the red sox.

I am going to the airshow on Saturday. My wifes cousin is a LT. COL., and flies the big boys. He is getting us into the family tent.
Might try fishing the cape sat night or sun am.

I was told C-5's or C-130's, by another cousin. This is going to be my first show. When my wife was younger, he had a stunt plane. He used to take my wife and her brother up and let them fly it. My brother in law was into straight nose diving.
John what is the best way to get there from here, and what time should I leave to get there around 09:30?

If you've got a boat why not kill two birds with one stone, anchor off quonset, drop a line and watch the airshow from the best seats in the house. Myself I am going both days Sat. I am going on the tarmac and Sun. I'll watch it from Allen's Harbor beach, who knows maybe I'll bring along my rod.

I am gonna fish in the early early morning with my dad tommorrow, I'll bring my camera and hopefully get to use it , then I might do yardwork and be with my family a bit.
Greg I hope your back gets better, I did my air cond. Thurs. by myself so I know what you mean, it took all I could muster at the end of the day just to carry it up form the basement , walk around the front of the house and hoist it up to the window, and then the wife says but it's backwards, ughhh so I say I'm just resting it for a moment. the thing must weigh 150 pounds. next time I get help.
Sunday I hope to sleep late.. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good Airshow, lousy fishing... Went to Narragansett but found high surf, lots of weeds, and too close for comfort lightening... Oh, and it was muggy... Didn't get a chance to head back out.
Air show was pretty cool, brought my son, 18 months old, to see the show and until he succumbed to the heat, being tired, fussiness, & lack of mommy - he had a pretty good time - I wonder where we'll be next year, maybe watching from the water

I thought the airshow was awsome. We sat front against the fence in the family area. I took alot of pics, hope they came out. When I get them developed I will post some.
John , my wifes cousin was telling me that on fridays practice run, Dale Snotgrass did a knifeedge down the runway, wingtip 6' off the runway. He then proceeded over the 12th holes green at that golf course next store. There were quite a few unhappy people, afterwards. He said he hoped that he did'nt ruin anyone's putting.

I agree the air show was good. The only way it would have been better is if The Blue Angels were there. They are by far the best performance team. I used to work right next to the airfield and it seemed like I always worked on the air show days. We would climb up into the big towers we had and watch the angels fly by @ eye level and during one of the practice runs the solo plane dipped down into our parking lot so we saw the top of the plane as he screamed past. That was F$%^ing unbelievable. I mean you could read the pilots name and count the rivets on the plane.

Yeh bill, that was pretty cool, I'll also agree with target about the Blue Angels, slight edge over the Tbirds...

Is that why you call yourself Target? You keep placing your body in the path of a jet flying near supersonic, flown by a pilot that is having the crap beat out of him turning 6-7Gs ?

LOL, no I belong to a group of PC gamers, The BadLANs , and it is my handle from there. We get toghether put up a switched network and play games. In the beginning I was pretty bad at the first person shooter games and would always die. One day out of frustration I just typed in the name Target because that was what I felt like and it just stuck.
P.S.- I sat in zero traffic both going in and out of the airshow. I grew up next to the base and know the back way in and where to park. Also the Angels don't wear G-suits and the T-Birds do.

Congrats Mike! Fuhgedabout fishing & sleeping - you're toast!
Wow - nine pounds, my wife would wince at that....
I doubt that I'm going to be able to get in to see Mike today. They'll most likely wait until he's out of ICU before he gets visitors. Besides, you need to let your wife get some sleep while you wait hand & foot on her. Been there, done that...
Target - is that all you LAN? First Person Shooters? No flight games ?

You got that right John. My eyes look like they are bleeding because they are so bloodshot.
By the way my wife is only 5 feet so picture a 9 pounder in her frame.
The Doc made a judgement call and went with a C-section. I was in the O.R. and the whole thing was nothing short of amazing!
