Best 9ft Rod under $100
A friend of mine is looking for a 9ft surfcasting rod for $100 or under, any recommendations? I have used the Diawa sealine rods with good success.

For the dough I'll second the Tica rods, your buddy will have a lil extra dough too for a pair of korkers, or a kayak dry top.

Tica Dolphin. I think the 9' runs around $80.

I don't know from 9 footers, but I have a 10' Diawa Sealine and my brother has a 10-6 Tica. I have used both and I like the Diawa better. Faster and lighter. Now it might be different with the new Tica Dolphin...

That 10-6 Tica is a pool cue.

Just got a 9' St Croix Triumph rated 1/2-2 1/2. Haven't gotten a fish on it yet but it casts well.
Factory retail is $110 but I got it on ebay for $85 with shipping included......
