Leaders for Tuna?

I have a quick question in regards to leaders when fishing for Tuna. I am noticing that most of the more popular Tuna plugs, cedar plugs, green machines, aliens, all pretty much come rigged and ready to go with long heavy leaders. My question is do I need an additional leader?

Fishing 50lb test on a TD-25, and 40lb test on Penn 113h's. I'm just looking for small school tuna, no monsters....

Also I am trying to locate some transom clips, to get the trolling lines down level to the boat. Anyone know where I can find these?

Thanks

if you are buying those pre-rigged set-ups with long leaders i don't think you need any additional leader. just tie a good snap swivel to the end of you line and you should be good to go. Not sure about the transom clips, i never really used them, i just send the rig down with a downrigger or drag them on top skipping them on the waves with or wiithout outriggers.
