What kind of surfgear are you looking for?? You said for the truck, do you mean rod or cooler racks or do you need other stuff??

Clamdigger, I think what you're looking for is The Surfcaster catalog, they're in Darien, CT. Good selection of the usual tackle, and they have the custom racks and rod holders you're probably interested in.
The have a website, but no on-line ordering. Give them a call at 1-800-551-SURF and they will send you a catalog.

http://www.thesurfcaster.com or www.rodracks.com - both expensive... Have you considered building a set? I've got a solid set of rod racks that I built for under $50 and will accomodate up to a dozen rods.... (currently set for 3)
If you have a cap on your truck and sliders, you can run up to 10 foot rods internally as well...

That's right, we are on the down side towards schoolie time, matter a fact!! Time to also start chasing some holdover fish if the weather breaks a little - today for example... Now I have heard from a couple locals that were still getting fish to 14-15 pounds from the shore - howze that for a little winter action ??
If you've got a fullsize PU, I've seen several people making vertical rod racks in the stake holes on the corner of the bed...
Clamdigger - we'll need to hook up this spring as we live in the same town...
