inshore codding

anybody doing anything in the harbor.
i was out this week a few times...sunday night, and monday most of the day..alot of short fish but then some bigger. all on jigs and teasers.
b bouy, and another 5 or 6 miles east, and actually a few just west of the graves. schools of mackeral and small pollock as well, on the surface. monday was the best, had one around 34" with a smaller cod in its stomach, and a toothbrush...yes, a pink toothbrush.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

I fished Fri. 5/5 but with the good weather we went all the way to the bank and found whales, birds and bait. Did well with the haddock during the morning on bait, afternoon was all cod mostly keeper up to 15 lbs on jigs. Was a great day on the water and first trip of the season on my own boat. The other guys we meet up with also stay Sat. and fish inshore, ledges, "B" and "BF" bouys caught cod at all spots mostly small, just a few keepers.

Christian I hope you kept the toothbrush. Put a hook on it and use it!! No kidding.

Finally got the tralier all put back together and back under boat!Planning on launching Friday out of plymouth with wifey and targeting macks, stripers and maybe some cod. Anyone catching cod out of plymouth at the usual inshore spots, any particular tides? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks
