Kids fishing - beats any catch for me
I love seeing my boys fishing and catching, to me no personal catch will ever beat the feeling of seeing them hook up. Memorial Day was fantastic, the mackerel (first pic) were around so the fishing was fast and fun. I think my older boy is going to be a biologist, he likes guts.

Got my oldest son hooked up with a few schoolies on his old mans plugs......you can't beat that....the look on his face and the joy in his voice as he yelled "Dad, I am on!"......the best!

Took my father and 2 kids out on the boat and had non-stop schoolie action for almost 2 hours. I really don't know who had more fun, the kids, my father or me watching the 3 of them having so much fun hooking up. I don't care what the price of gas is when you have that good of a time.

great pic! your older son looks enthralled by those guts!!
yeah, I just got married, and I'm sure kids will be on the way in a coulple of years, so one of the excuses I give to my wife for all my fishing craziness is that I need to learn as much as possible now so I can teach the kids!!!
Really though, I'm sure that is a great joy of fatherhood!

Very nice shot of your boys with their fish. I am looking forward to getting my daughter down to the coast for some schoolies soon. Did take her out and got her the first fish that she has actually caught all by herself - without dad setting the hook or helping her reel. It is a small sunfish - but the smile on all of our faces was priceless.
Notice the "Princess" fishing rod and the jewelry accessories - all girl, but she doesn't mind digging up and handling the worms and wants to touch the fish and check it out too.

Great pics
I think most members here know how I feel about fishing with my kids!
Time spend with our kids is the most important responsibility we have as parents in my opinion ! especially with all the bad things in the world today !!!
