A few--
atoms and a conrad jr. All unweighted, made the lips, except for the gold, which has a heavier lip and swims above with a nice wake or just below with a slow wiggle. The blue surface swims with nice wake and no roll .Reverse, nose a little out of the water with a very, very wide wake with flap kickin on a slow retreive. Crank it and it throws up a 6in rooster tail.Conrad swims on top with a nice wake, cranked it goes just below surface with a tight wiggle.Proof will be in the catching though.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

Nice plugs, but I'm confused. I thought Conrads were a deep running plug (maybe made out of maple?????) Does anyone know what the originals were made out of, if, or how, they were weighted, and where the line tie came through the lip?

NS, u r right, they were a deep swimming wighted plug ,with belly weight just rear of center.Dives too deep for where i fish, so no weight for me. Lenght is 5 and1/2 in with the head 1 and 1/4 in wide.
Flap, i woulda bet the farm you would picked the blue one.
Thanks everybody for all the feedback.
