Ava
Hi all. Its been a while since I last posted... its been a busy year. In December my wife and I had a little girl, Ava; she's incredible. Everyone says "they grow up fast" AND they do. She's already five months old and it seems like yesterday that I was camped out in a hospital room fumbling around the first diaper.
Thankfully Ava is a great sleeper. Bed time is early so I try to sneak out and spend a couple hours fishing when I can. So far its been a great spring. Lots of fish... lots of SMALL fish.
The goal this year, and for years to come, is to catch a fish larger than my daughter. Currently the goal is 17 lbs.

Thanks guys. She’s been a great addition.
Thankfully bedtime is anywhere from 6:00 – 8:00, so I still have prime fishing hours. Unfortunately, the wife isn’t too pleased with my “driving off into the sunset” on most evenings and leaving her with the baby monitor. I’ll try to make it up to her in July and August.
Basswipe – I’ve been in your neck of the woods a few times this year, but never for too long.
