A warning for boaters for this coming Friday around Beavertail
100th Anniversary of the Newport Bermuda race.
There will be ALOT of boats.
Start time is around noon.
Stay the hell away, its gonna be a zoo.
And no, you don't have the right of way.

must be a sight to sail passed a powerboat going 30 knots.
i got passed bye a big tri-hull one day in the grady. thought i was hauling at 28-30 knots and he "blew" right bye me  |

little fast to troll from. 
but in light air you got good toona trolling speeds.
and those cables (PBO/Carbon/Kevlar) keep that 140 some odd foot rig from falling into the ocean
kinda important.  |
