Should I bring my crab net to Rhody?

As I said over on the boat board, I'll be staying in Charlestown for a week. Is there any good bluecrabbing in the area, either by boat or land ?
Thanks guys
Bill.

Post Crabs

Unless I've been misinformed--Bloo-crabs in Rhode Island are only for residents. Pisses me off--in Conn. where I crab--lots of R.I. plates. Conn. doesn't restrict to residents only.

Ah FWW - those bluecrabs are some of the meanest critters on this planet, and they got no class at all geez, they eat while they're mating fer god's sake. BUT, they ain't too bright -- next time just waggle anything in front of him, and grab him from behind !
Is that true, no crabbin for non-residents ? Man, they'll take my rent money, and my gas money, and my slip vodka - but I can't crab ?
Scotch - thanks for the offer, I'd like to hook up with some of you guys while I'm there. Next week, I'll have to figure what I'm gonna do - and make some plans since I won't have any computer up there.
