Your Favorite Plug?

Which plug do you like to fish the most? I want to know the one that you absolutely crush fish on and enjoy fishing it! Color, weight, the whole 9 yards!

I must admit to loving topwater for all the obvious reasons.....seeing the fish slap at it numerous times then explode on it! I must say a pencil would be number 1 with a surface swimmer/danny a close second.......Afterhours Jr. Spook is a fish slayer when the pencil ain't bringing them up!

Yellow/white belly or copper over pearl white 1.5 ounces.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I really enjoy fishing spooks. I love them all: Surf Asylum Sleepwalker, Tattoo Pup, AH Junior Spook and last but not least the Yozuri Hydro Pencil(AKA striper crack). Bass/Blues commit suicide on the Hydro pencil and it cast like a missile.

Night time I have the most confidence in an A-Salt Bombers, LI Fish VT Needles, and Hab's needles. I enyoy getting the fish on needles the most.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

caught my last 30+ stripers on one of my 2 oz. pencils in white, so for now it's my favorite.

Right now, I have been doing quite well on a blurple 2 1/2 oz Beachmaster needle and before that I had luck with his 3 1/2 oz BI fat needle in olive/gold over white (but lost it). Taken a good number of fish #20-30 on those two plugs this summer. I don't think anyone makes a better plug than that guy. I have so much confidence in his lures I find it hard to tie on my own.

for top water it has to be the BigFish's yellow pencil...I have fished that plug for two years solid and it always produces for me when they are on top.....I LOVE IT and him for the endless supply

night time if not fishing eels it's the black mambo minnow....I dunno know what to say...it works for me.....Id really like to try a real wood Finnish swimmer someday......I might have to try and handcarve some....

I dont know what it is bout these two plugs.... I do fish other stuff, but these just seem to work the best for me (local and round town ).....

Speaking of wrong threads you might be up for that most posts in a day deal. You went on a tear for a few days early last winter if I remember correctly.

To stay on topic I realized I forgot to mention Labrador's swimmers. I have complete confidence in the 1 Oz. bunker and 2 oz. Blurpe. Nuthin better than getting them on metal lips IMO.

And your point is what? My cabin fever of last winter may have some thing to do with you being on Cuttyhunk twice this year, no?

Too many

but if I had to take only one to a mostly sandy environment beach it would be a Rapala / Bomber type swimmer at night.

Daytime....a smallish pencil in flo pearl white with strong rose/ light green hues imbedded...say 2 oz.

Rocky area.... Blue over pearl white sinking pencil / needle type

Good health and family

Block Island would have been a good place to try it.Thats A BI color.I know it's probably a bit heavy for ur usuall gear. It's a good big/whitewater color also. Not a flatwater plug.Good for the Breachways, think of it as a big loaded redfin.Good to reach the outer bar.Bend the lip up.Hold it in a wave an hold on.

2.5oz pencil, yellow/red head for calmer water.

If the water is rough, i like a little neck in the same color about 3oz. to swim the waves.
