Acres of fish today.......

6-18-06 028.jpg6-18-06 026.jpgHad a good day today in the bay. Bass and blues by the acre, nothing like I have ever seen. Poppers were the best lure today, but caught most of the bass on plastic. Will post some pictures of the scene I saw today.

It was like that in the canal yesterday morning, for a half mile all there was ,was froth and breaking fish, not as many this morning

Those fish were real finicky on lures, I caught some but for the amount of fish that were there, it was a slow pick. They were feeding on little tiny herring

Yup, the stupid fishing was happening up here this afternoon too. Just got in. Too lumpy for the kayak, but they did come within reach a couple of times. First blues for me.
