Question Pencil Popping Blank?

Between the Glass blanks available from Lami, which one will handle 1.5-3.5oz. plugs and work them well? I looked at the old Lami 2003catalog and the new 2006 version. The butt and tip sizes seem different from the 2 catalogs. Did they makechanges ?

Best glass blank for pencils is the SB 136 2F if you can find one (discontinued several years ago). Otherwise, go with the 136 3M.The 136 2M will labor casting 3.5 oz.

Lami's catalogs are famous for mistakes--no suprise when you make hundreds of different blank models.

Also, tip sizes on different runs of the same model blanks can vary, too.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

Annother vote for the 3m, works pencils really well and can throw big ones if you need too. Great stick for the fall, throws big swimmers well also and eels, bends to the butt so you can stop any bass.
