Congrats Jimmy.
The fish on the left is a traveler from the Cape I bet. See how light she is? I think some fish are moving as I had some light fish over the weekend. Also had a 24" Weakfish on a redgill. Shocked me!!

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

Not if you line them with mohair.

As long as they have a good polish.
Here's a tip, keep a little tube of shoe creme in your wader pocket, and save a nip of that eel rag for a quick "touch up" on the rocks.

Mr Hunters yes the color on all fish fade as they sit. Look at any fish pic of colorful fish taken as they come out of the water, they are vibrant. The same fish will look dull hours later after the blood drains from their skin. I think that is why Jim's fish look light in the pic.

tynan,
I think what piemma was referring to with the light colored striper is that it is a cape striper......bass from the cape seem to have lighter coloring due to the fact of what is under the fish as they swim...ie sand, beaches .....as opposed to a newport, or a gansett fish which are clearly darker because of the rocks that are below them. If you look at the two fish, the one on the left is a lot lighter than the one on the right....
picture was taken after the second one was landed....approximately 15 minutes after the first one wasd caught...
If I have this wrong Paul, chime in when you read this
