he don't hide it, that's for sure.. I remember the interview he did with Stern a couple years back on the E show.. Howard had Willy roll a "cigarette".. he did it so fast, you would not believe it.. He then asked him if he could do it one hand.. Willy smiled.. did two, one with each hand in short time.. he talked pretty open about it.. claims he don't drink hard stuff no more, and that the smoke is a mellower high.. he ain't far off, just Far Out.. 
I would think that bus of his, ( ain't hard to miss) travelling down the road, is an easy target for a trooper looking to write a celeb citation... |

He's got that allll caught up 
The "IRS" Tapes, and the tour royalties went to IRS, plus he rode the bar circuit for a few years to pay it off.. he even played places like Bud's Country Lounge in Hyannis back then... he had a much shabbier bus on that tour
His friends rallied and bought a lot of his stuff at that auction, and he's got a lot of that stuff back now too... |

Willie is a legend, most people know him as of the last 20 -30 yrs as the ponytailed singer. He is one of the greatest country songwriters of all time. How many of you know that Willie wrote Patsy Cline's huge hit "Crazy" ? Thats one of many songs that will live forever.
