PI This Mornin

I got this this morning on a Sea Worm at 8:45 this morning
I caught over 50 Stripers last night, I fished from Mon. 5:30 am
to this afternoon at 3pm. All Fish were 20 to 35 inches and they
would only take worms. I threw everything in my bag at them.

Thanks guys, The river has been dead sense the end of July and the fish that were there are tiny, I think due to the floods in the spring large fish never moved in. I stopped fishing there then. I think that they are moving down the coast, The Schoolies are loaded & fat. This is one of 8 (that I know of) that was caught sense Friday night, which I missed but I guess the fish were all over the place.

I always have a bait rod or 2 and throw plugs while I wait.

sea worms? You in kayak mode again? Good use of your 'time off!'

riverrat,
I landed a ton of Blues on Sunday morning Stripers were mixed in with them, until like a switch it turned off.

PI Guy,
I stayed as long as I could have, that new rule 2 nights on 2 nights off stinks, I watched a blue fish blitz for 3 hours right in front of me and it never moved in I had to be off by 3pm. I was out of food and I was starving.

Don, It was so good I was using left over pieces of worm that was beat up from catching 2 or 3 other fish, the rangers drove right by me and kicked the people down from me off? was one of them hot she looked good from a distance, but 2 nights alone anything looks hot. Thanks for the Plug

Rick,
Hippies suck give them some deoderant for a present

Ross,
I am a sand/rock guy never got into a yak (yet) yes sea worms = striper candy. When the surf is pounding like it has been the fish are looking for clams and worms in the sand that is suspended in the water.

I did get one skate, first this year.

Bob those fish were in Cape Ned#^&#^&#^&#^& on Sunday, then in the Rye beach area about a day and a half later, now you got them in PI about the same time later. $5 says you could follow that school down the coast if you hit all the rocky points and beaches. I had them on poppers all the way down on the tide. Soon as the tide turned so did the fish. There must have been 30 boats off Nubble fishing them.
Cooler shot is neat!
