what kind of games do you like? rts or fps? or rpgs? elaborate on your tastes!

rts nothing beats the classic starcraft:brood war, better multiplayer experience though. the rise of nations series is good too. for a good long game (months) try the Rome:total war series, i believe the next one launches in a month or so.

fps i personally like call of duty 2 and counterstrike:source.

rpgs......eh im not really big into em but i hear that world of warcraft and guilds are the top ones. |

				 | fps are top of the list followed by rts.
halo was up there but meh...
tryed to get into doom 3 but after a few levels i dropped it.

I hear the new (now old) half life is pretty good.

I was pretty big into age of empires a few years back.

				 | Call of Duty 2.....
hard to beat in the single player mode and multiplayer is down right awesome- you need a highspeeed conention though- dial up is no good. |

That is a 2 year old version of LOMAC - Lock On Modern Air Combat running at nearly full settings on a decent rig, AMD64 3200, 1GB, Sata, X800GTO. I use the Saitek X45. Not bad but my $500 in flight controld and ruffer pedals became obsolete after W98 |

				 | cod 2 is a very very good ww2 fps. the online game is so good. multi is good as well but i like to play "rifles only" online game. bolt action rifles only no submachine guns and whatnot. makes it so much more fun imho |

				 | the kotor games are alot of fun for xbox. takes many hours to beat them. the flight sims for 360 aren't half as good as anything for a pc. still waiting for a real good one.If xbox is microsoft and microsoft makes the best sims, why isn't there one for 360?

				 | have you rented the flight sim for 360 yet jon?
the screen shots look real promising... especially if they are going on a 6000000000000000000000000000 inch TV

				 | Havent rented but the reviews were not good. I usually don't go by them but it said the controls were not very good and that it couldn't decide if it wanted to be arcade style or simulator style. doesn't sound good. prob similar to acecombat for ps2 |
